About the Oregon WIC Program
WIC is the Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants and Children. This public health program is designed to improve health outcomes and influence lifetime nutrition and health behaviors in a targeted, at-risk population. Nutrition education and access to healthy foods are cornerstones of the WIC Program.
We support local WIC agencies and authorized vendors in their efforts to increase access to WIC benefits and services to help participants lead active, healthy lives. To do so we provide a variety of program and educational materials.
Due to funding restrictions, we only provide WIC materials to local WIC agencies and authorized vendors.
